We are delighted to announce that our Patron is Professor Richard Knight, BA, BM, BCh, FRCP(E), an internationally acclaimed doctor highly respected in the field of neurology.
Professor Knight is Professor of Clinical Neurology, University of Edinburgh, Honorary Consultant Clinical Neurologist, Lothian University Teaching Hospitals. Deputy Director UK National CJD Surveillance Unit.

In 2010 there were 94801 applications for medicine and dentistry but there was only 9246 acceptances so roughly 1 in 10
According to The Guardian the top five universities for medicine are: Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Dundee and UCL
